Another Starting Point

Today is the 43 days in KL. I've never stay here for so long. I remembered the last time I only stayed for a day in KL. I don't know whether my decision is correct or not, but the thing I do know is, I've never regret with what I am doing
now. I am so glad to become one of here, is an exciting moment to meet new people.

Kuala Lumpur, a capital and the largest city in Malay
sia. This metropolitan area consists of cities, towns, and villages. My school is about 10km south from the KL business district but it can take an hour drive.

I'm staying in North Wing Campus, which is a technology campus of UCSI. It is a boring campus as a result of no club's events, super expensive foods (RM 8 for a piece of chicken, a cabbage, and a rice), less people. This is why I've decided to join some clubs in UCSI main campus to make me feel good. Currently I only managed to join CF (Christian Fellowship)'s cell group on Wednesday.

UCSI is a medium size private university. It offered courses like engineering, architecture, medicine, pharmarcy, business, IT, and many more. I choose to study at UCSI because of their standard and their good reputation. Everyone is asking me, "why you want to choose to study in an expensive university, you can choose other colleges like INTI, is much more cheaper", I ignored them, because I know that UCSI has their certain standard, this why they can granted as "university" in a short time. In addition, it is also one of a very few architectural university that accredited by LAM/PAM.

When my first came, this school was really impressed me due to the building design, hostel, toilet, and the classroom, it looks great and amazing. I never think that I can study in this university.

Back to 2007, when I've finished my high school, I went to education fairs to get information about my next level of study. Finally, I did a silly decision. I applied to become an airline's pilot and I got it. Due to the lacking of information the school provided, my parent don't allowed me to pursue my study there. They thought I've been cheated. I was sad and disappointed.

Then I made another decision, I went to INTI College Sarawak to study Cambridge A-Level. When I was there, I felt proud of myself. I met lot of friends there, best friends. INTI College Sarawak is a platform for me to create my own personality. Besides that, I also proud to join Blessed Fellowship Church when I was there.

As a vice-president of administration in student council department, I gained a lot of knowledge as well. From the knowledge of controlling people to organizing events and protecting student rights, all of these help to create my personality also.

End of August 2009, I got my A-level result. I really satisfied with the result I get, I passed all the subjects, and I got a flying result for my mathematics as well. Once again, I glad to be one of the INTIan.

After my result came out, then I went to Segi Kuching and UCSI Kuching to obtain some information about marketing course. I want to become a marketing researcher. After all my research, then I planned to study at UCSI Kuching. On the day I apply, suddenly something came out of my mind, is weird that I believed what my mind told me that day, I applied an architecture course instead of business.

One thing I want to tell everyone of you is, I still waiting for my best friends to join me. Most of my best friends are studying at Kuching, Sarawak at the moment. I really hope they can choose to study at UCSI with me. I really feel sorry to them as I came here alone without discussing with them. Actually I did this because I don't want someone to interrupt my mind, is hard for me to make a decision. Now I really regret that I didn't spend more times with my friends in Kuching. But nothing I can do now.

However, for me, I think that, "Once a Friend, Forever Friend". Although sometimes we argue with each others, but this can make our friendship grow. Lastly, I hope to see all of my friends in the coming days.
